I had never hired a moving company before, so I had a lot of questions and concerns. Rusty answered my questions and was nice, patient, helpful, and personable. I later talked to Reese, who was equally nice and helpful. They accommodated our timeframe and they were knowledgeable about the area. Omari and William worked hard to complete the job in a minimum amount of time and they did an excellent job. They worked carefully and professionally. I would highly recommend Saltwater Moving.

After another company canceled on us 3 days before our move, Saltwater Moving came to our rescue! They confirmed several times and called the morning of to give us their exact arrival time. Fred, Walt, Ramone, Tres, Ramirez were amazing to work with and handled our antique furniture and dishes like it was theirs! They hustled all day in the heat and we had to tell them multiple times ti take a break and cool off. This was the best moving experience we have had. They wouldn’t let us pick up anything. Luke was so helpful and checked in before the move, ensuring a smooth transition. He was also accommodating when I had to last minute tack on my washer and dryer for transport. They communicated well when they had a cancellation and were able to get me in sooner that morning to get everything done timely. My movers Omari, LP and Brandon were hilarious! This was the best (and fastest) move I've ever had. They were transparent, helpful, willing, and wrapped literally everything (even things that I was like "Please do me a service and let it break"). Mind you, I was on a 3rd floor apartment, so they had to haul a lot of items down stairs. Price point was reasonable (I've moved 3 times since living in SC) and the quality was top tier. They were considerate, put things back together, and took care of my items in transport. In fact, they were almost too efficient - I thought something had to go wrong just for it to be real.I would wholly recommend anyone to schedule with Saltwater. They were recommended to me by my friend, and they absolutely hit all the expectations and then some.Very grateful for the stress-free move!

Best movers in Charleston! Brandon and Graham were steady and diligent, but efficient. We have many large furniture pieces and fragile antiques and they handled them effortlessly and with care. We also had several very heavy and fragile boxes. They were careful to wrap all of our furniture and to listen to our direction on more fragile pieces and boxes. We’ve used four moving companies in Charleston hoping to find one that’s great, and we’ve finally found them! Their pricing is also very reasonable for the service they provide. I had a great experience with Saltwater Moving (formerly Riverdog Moving) for a recent move from one two-bedroom, second-floor condo to another in the same complex. My previous movers cancelled on me, and Rusty was incredibly kind in his response - he immediately called his team to see if they could accommodate me just two days later. Within 30 minutes, he called me back to help walk me through the booking process to secure my spot. The three-man crew of Ian, Brandon, and EJ, arrived right in the middle of the provided delivery window and were incredibly efficient and thoughtful movers. All of my possessions were appropriately wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap for the move - no damage on any items and I didn't see a single scrape on the wall or doors! The crew was great about checking in with me throughout the move. I would highly recommend Saltwater Moving for anyone looking in the Charleston area. Really professional operation from top to bottom - I would absolutely move with them again.
