I had never hired a moving company before, so I had a lot of questions and concerns. Rusty answered my questions and was nice, patient, helpful, and personable. I later talked to Reese, who was equally nice and helpful. They accommodated our timeframe and they were knowledgeable about the area. After another company canceled on us 3 days before our move, Saltwater Moving came to our rescue! They confirmed several times and called the morning of to give us their exact arrival time. Fred, Walt, Ramone, Tres, Ramirez were amazing to work with and handled our antique furniture and dishes like it was theirs! They hustled all day in the heat and we had to tell them multiple times ti take a break and cool off. This was the best moving experience we have had. They wouldn’t let us pick up anything. I chose Cavalier Moving after talking with a couple moving companies in the Richmond area. A few never called back, but the ones that did, only one company stood out hands down. I talked with Luke Cerutti concerning my moving plans and he answered every question I had far beyond my satisfaction. I was impressed with his organizational skills and going over the quote he emailed to me, line by line, while I was on the phone. I had a unique situation where I had my house belongings stored in the PODS facility in Richmond, VA. Because my home sold in two days, I needed a quick way to store my furnishings as the close date was approaching fast. After I decided where I was moving, PODS said they couldn't deliver my belongings even though it was only 2 hours away. I panicked at first, but luckily, I called Luke and he was able to fix my situation during a stressful time. I would use Luke and Cavalier Moving anytime in the future without question.

My wife and I had used Cavalier Moving the last time we moved and had a great experience. My daughter was moving and we recommended Cavalier Moving to her. She used them today and this was the smoothest moving experience I have ever witnessed. The 3 men in the picture were all extremely cordial, helpful, happy and very careful with the furniture and boxes. They also were extremely efficient and had her moved in 2-1/2 hours with an hour of that being travel time. Very, very impressed and if we move again will definitely use Cavalier Moving again.

We had an AWESOME experience with the Cavalier Movers team from start to finish! We had been given the runaround by a couple other moving companies and ended up having to book with them very last minute. They were not only professional and accommodating, but incredibly efficient. Our team of guys, Darnell, Kai, and Demonte, was polite, hardworking, and FAST. I didn’t know that much stuff could be moved that quickly. We also had to store our belongings on the truck for a couple nights between moves. Everything showed up perfectly intact and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to use this team again and we are so thankful for all of their hard work and help. Cavalier has been the least stressful part about moving!

I am so happy with how my move went using Cavalier Moving. Darnell Rainey is a top tier expert and absolutely made this move a breeze. Him and his team were so kind, extremely diligent and their communication was exceptional. Being able to just tell them what needed to go into the truck and in what rooms stuff was going without having to go through everything individually was a blessing. Not only did Darnell make sure that we were clear about what needed to be done and what it would take, he was attentive and honest during the initial tour and final evaluation of the move. They kept up their pace and they were great about making the mood light and keeping us updated on what they were up to! I would absolutely recommend Darnell and Cavalier Moving to anyone that asks and will be using them in the future as well.

Luke was so helpful and checked in before the move, ensuring a smooth transition. He was also accommodating when I had to last minute tack on my washer and dryer for transport. They communicated well when they had a cancellation and were able to get me in sooner that morning to get everything done timely. My movers Omari, LP and Brandon were hilarious! This was the best (and fastest) move I've ever had. They were transparent, helpful, willing, and wrapped literally everything (even things that I was like "Please do me a service and let it break"). Mind you, I was on a 3rd floor apartment, so they had to haul a lot of items down stairs. Price point was reasonable (I've moved 3 times since living in SC) and the quality was top tier. They were considerate, put things back together, and took care of my items in transport. In fact, they were almost too efficient - I thought something had to go wrong just for it to be real.I would wholly recommend anyone to schedule with Saltwater. They were recommended to me by my friend, and they absolutely hit all the expectations and then some.Very grateful for the stress-free move!

Best movers in Charleston! Brandon and Graham were steady and diligent, but efficient. We have many large furniture pieces and fragile antiques and they handled them effortlessly and with care. We also had several very heavy and fragile boxes. They were careful to wrap all of our furniture and to listen to our direction on more fragile pieces and boxes. They came in and taped boxes because mostly everything was packed anyway. Helped me pack the fridge which was ok, but they left the food sitting out in front of the fridge and I couldn't move them because I have rotator shoulder issues and all boxes were piled up in front of the entryway and I couldn't even get in the kitchen. Too young to be so lazy. Not naming names because jobs are hard to come by, but damn y'all left my food on the floor. All you had to do was put it in the fridge. This crew was terrible.

This was my first time using a moving company, and I was very pleased with my experience. I had heard mixed reviews about cavalier, but the three men that came, Danny, Alejandro, and Marcus, did an excellent job, they were very polite and respectful to my wife, myself, and all the objects that they moved. This was not an easy task as we were moving an entire house, unfortunately they were not able to fit everything into the truck, but took everything that was difficult to move and put it in the correct location at the next house. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing, excellent experience. I would definitely use them again and recommend this company to friends and family. Definitely ask for Danny, Alejandro, and Marcus. From setting up the move of my 3-bedroom townhome (1600 square feet an hour away from new home) over the phone with Anthony to the final piece of furniture being placed in my new place. I had a great experience with Saltwater Moving (formerly Riverdog Moving) for a recent move from one two-bedroom, second-floor condo to another in the same complex. My previous movers cancelled on me, and Rusty was incredibly kind in his response - he immediately called his team to see if they could accommodate me just two days later. Within 30 minutes, he called me back to help walk me through the booking process to secure my spot. The three-man crew of Ian, Brandon, and EJ, arrived right in the middle of the provided delivery window and were incredibly efficient and thoughtful movers. All of my possessions were appropriately wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap for the move - no damage on any items and I didn't see a single scrape on the wall or doors! The crew was great about checking in with me throughout the move. I would highly recommend Saltwater Moving for anyone looking in the Charleston area. Really professional operation from top to bottom - I would absolutely move with them again.
